Cloister Plaque

Cloister plaques are stone tablets available for dedication on the walls near both of our chapels.

The plaque is primarily intended to be dedicated to one person, but it is possible to inscribe two names, however the space available will remain the same.

  • Cloister plaques can be leased for 5, 10 or 20 years.
  • The cost of the lease includes the first inscription of the plaque.
  • Second inscriptions or re-inscriptions are available at an additional cost.

What happens at the end of a lease?

One month before your lease is due to end, we will write to you to invite you to either renew or terminate your lease. With this in mind, please keep us updated with any change of address. The wall space would then become available for another family to lease. If you do not wish to renew the lease, there is an option to purchase the plaque for an additional fee. The plaque will otherwise be returned to the stonemason to be recycled.

If we have not heard from you after 3 months of the expiry date, we will end the lease and remove the plaque from the cloisters. We will store the nameplate for a further 3 months. If we have not heard from you within 6 months of the expiry date, we will make arrangements for the plaque to be recycled.
